Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman was either born in 1820 or 1821 nobody knows for sure because nobody bothered to remember slaves date of birth. Every slave in the southern states depended on their lives to get better every second of the way. Tubman was a brave women finding out how and where was the starting of her adventure on the Underground Railroad. Things got worse, soon runaway slaves had to go back to the southern states or they could be shot, whipped or even go to jail. Harriet never new this would be a dangoures job until now. She was very brave and she went back to get more slaves to travel on the Underground Railroad. When Tubman was taking them to another free state, some of the slaves got scared and wanted to turn back. Harriet Tubman would not let them go back, she would point a gun at their head and say "Go on or die". Tubman was brave to do this difficult task and she became the conductor of the Underground Railroad. Tubman was brave, courageous and in a way to help the people or slaves of the southern states, she is known today for helping many slaves become free. |
