K is for kite. Kites were invented to use for war. The day the kite was invented and the person who invented it are unknown. In China, kites were also used for festivals and to protect their crops. The Chinese also used them in their spare time for fun. Kites came in many colors, sizes and shapes. In China people use kites to scare birds away so they would not eat their crops. The kite had many uses and it was important to the people of China.
