X is for the Xi Jiang River in China. It is important because animals used the river for water to drink and food to eat. It is helpful for people because they used the river’s banks to farm.
    The Chinese also used the river for fishing and fresh water to drink. Since plants are producers, the river helped crops grow. I wonder what other rivers are in China?
