In ancient China, jade was used for many things. One thing it was used for was fighting. The Chinese made bronze blades, ax blades, and halberd. A halberd is a dagger shaped blade, which was a favorite weapon of the Shang times. Jade was also used for rituals. The Chinese made ritual cauldrons, where they put food and drinks in to offer to their ancestors. Jade was also used for beautiful jewelry. I wish I could dig out some jade.
