Dear Families of Camelot Center Students, 

It was wonderful to see so many of you at Back to School Night last week.  As I said then, your participation and involvement in your children's education is crucial to their success.   In fact, our staff has chosen to make parent involvement and communication a primary emphasis for 2003-04.   Last Tuesday, we gave you the first look at our new Home School Partnership statement, which sets out the commitments to our children that we make together.  

I have attached a copy of that statement for you to review.  It is our hope that you will sign the statement indicating your agreement with the commitments.   Please return the statement to your child's teacher so we can also sign it and return it to you.  We will be continuing our dialogue on the expectations we share for our students, and will be inviting you to visit the classrooms this year.  

Our goal is to increase student achievement, and we know that open communication between home and school will lead to that goal.   We hope you are as enthusiastic as we are about renewing and reinvigorating the partnership we have shared for so many years.
