FAMILY NIGHT

CHA sponsors semi-annual Family Nights, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. Family Night is one of our favorite and most inspiring of all events! It is a great time to come with the entire family for pizza dinner, socializing with other parents and children, and participating in a topic of interest with a panel of speakers. Babysitting and a movie is provided for the children during the topic of discussion with the adults.

Family Night: Date 11/30 at 7:00 P.M.

Topic: "Mis-Communication or Missed Communication?" We are very lucky to be having Gay Ngay and Bonnie O’Leary from the Northern Virginia Resource Center (NVRC) at our very first Family Night of the year. They will be presenting a workshop on communication strategies where they teach simple and useful strategies for communicating with people that have a hearing loss.
