Technology
| Technology is an integral part of instruction at Bush Hill from Kindergarten through 6th grade. With Smart Boards in all classrooms and the library, three student mobile labs and teacher laptops, technology is all around. Classes visit the computer lab either weekly or bi-weekly, and teachers can sign up for additional open times. Kindergarten students visit the lab in small groups and also use the Waterford Early Reading Program in their classrooms. Fifth graders complete a Global Awareness Technology Project which they present at the end of the year. Digital still and video cameras are available for teacher and student use along with many standard software programs. Teachers maintain individual classroom websites through FCPS 24-7 (Blackboard) which are accessible to students as well as parents through Parent View accounts. Take a look at some of our classrooms and activities below. |
