Bush Hill Elementary is a Cluster V school in the Edison High School pyramid; students attend Twain Middle School. Since its opening in 1954, Bush Hill has been among the smaller of FCPS's elementary schools; current enrollment is approximately 470 students. Bush Hill was most recently renovated in 2000 incorporating technology equipped classrooms and library, computer lab, music & art rooms, gym and therapy rooms. Parent volunteers and the PTA are both very active at Bush Hill, providing tremendous support for educational activities and other aspects of school life.

The Bush Hill Learning Community, comprised of students, parents, staff, and the community at large, shares a responsibility to provide an inviting and safe environment and to set appropriate high standards for academic achievement and character development.
