Mission

Our mission as a collaborative school community is to educate students with diverse abilities and backgrounds. We do this by carefully assessing the students' social-emotional and academic strengths and needs, providing them with an enriching and meaningful learning experience in a safe and nurturing environment. We do this so that students will realize their full potential as individuals and as productive citizens in a global society.

Vision

Our students have a right to a quality education that celebrates their strengths and meets their individual needs, leading them to high academic achievement. As a result, the students will be able to apply their acquired knowledge, skills, and personal talents in a way that contributes positively to the greater community.

Our responsibility as educators is to provide clearly defined and goal-focused instruction that engages and challenges our students. Instruction should be individualized, interactive, and evidence-based so that it is meaningful and practical to each student. Instruction should be presented in a safe and nurturing environment of care and respect.

It is through the partnership of school, home, and community that children have the greatest possibility of success. Further, it is the responsibility of this partnership to provide a positive and collaborative system of communication and support for students. This will enable them to become competent advocates for themselves and strive for continuous improvement.
It is through our best efforts to instruct, influence, and inspire this coming generation that students will achieve personal excellence and individual efficacy.

Our Beliefs About Commitments to Each Other

Our Beliefs About Conditions for Learning

Students learn in varying ways, demonstrating unique needs, abilities, and talents. Therefore, we commit to providing meaningful instruction that reflects a differentiated, evidence-based, and creative approach in a safe environment.
