Introduction
There are many different specialists at Bucknell Elementary School. They work in unison with the classroom teachers to help provide a comprehensive and unique learning environment for all students.
SPED-Special Education
Bucknell has an exceptional group of educators who help to ensure that our students
receive the individual attention they need. Their smiling
faces and warm hugs, brighten the faces of even the most frustrated
student.
SUM - Step Up to Math
Mrs. Laura Adler works hard to ensure each child receives exciting and innovative math instruction. Together with the classroom teachers, they plan lessons, which inspire Bucknell students to think and decipher problems on their own.

ESOL- English for Speakers of Other Languages
One
tour around Bucknell School and a visitor is sure to recognize what
a diverse community we are. Consequently, we now have two full-time
ESOL instructors, Mrs. Wanda Thomas and Mrs. Kathy Dwyer.
Our increasing ESOL student population keep these teachers very busy.

of Bucknell you know we are serious about reading. Whether it's
students reading in the foyer before school, hustling to their reading group,
or heading to their tutoring, Bucknell Elementary
School is focused on literacy. Mrs. Peggy Burkholder and Ms. Hilary
Kissel, work along with all staff members, to
see that each child receives proper, developmentally appropriate instruction.
