Physical Education Teacher

My goal as Physical Education teacher here at Bucknell Elementary school is to make sure that every child who enters my class come ready to have fun, develop skills, confidence, and knowledge and depart ready for a healthy life style. I look forward to an exciting year here at Bucknell.

The Physical Education Department would like to welcome every student to an exciting and challenging year. Our goal is to make sure every child becomes physically and mentally educated. A healthy, physically active student is more likely to be academically motivated, alert and successful in school. This will establish good habits of behavior that will promote good health throughout life and enhance the quality of life.

In order to achieve this goal students need to be ready for the following:

Be active at all times and have fun

Always wear appropriate footwear only (such as sneakers, no sandals or dress shoes)
Show positive respect for their peers, teachers, gym and self
No food or drinks (water bottles with WATER ONLY will be allowed for outdoor activities. Teacher will announce to students when they can bring them)

If your child has a medical condition (asthma, allergies, etc…) please, please, please inform us so that we may take the proper precautions.
