Hello
|
There are five major areas of focus:
Education: a variety of learning experiences are individualized to foster intellectual, social, and emotional growth. The classroom program is extended into the home through home visits and home reinforcement activities.
Health: Each child receives dental, vision, and hearing screenings. Early identification if health problems is emphasized and follow-up treatment provided.
Nutrition: Breakfast, lunch and snacks are served each day.
Parent Involvement: Parents act as volunteers in the classroom after receiving training in child development. They are encouraged to further their education and thus enhance job skills.
Social Services: Staff provide parents with information about available community resources and how to obtain them. Direct assistance is given to parents who have problems and emergencies.
