Bucknell celebrated its 50th birthday this year. Through the decades the school has reverberated with the sounds of children ----- music to our ears. This night the school rocked to the music which took us through the decades. Pictures were taken with a "57 Chevy. Face painting, a cake walk, a hula hoop contest, raffles and prizes for the best fifties costumes rounded out an evening of fun. The Outback Steakhouse catered the meal which was quite a deal at $5 per person or $15 per family. An exciting time was had by all who attended as the pictures below clearly demonstrate.

The cafeteria was all decked out with pink, black and white balloons. Festive music played while guests enjoyed dinner from Outback Steakhouse.
Zack was awarded the prize for the best fitties costume.
Mrs. Pace, a kindergarten teacher, and Mrs. Thwing, the art teacher, painted faces in decorative style.
The CAKE WALK was a favorite of old and young.
Guests could have their photos taken in front of a vintage car as a memento of the evening.
The SOCK HOP began at 7:30 with Mr. Hendricks as the DJ. Young and old enjoyed the beat and sound of the Fabulous "50s.
