Fourth and fifth grade students are eligible to begin instruction on a string instrument of their choice and will receive one 45-minute lesson per week during the school day. Beginning strings students will learn proper instrument care, basic playing position, tone production, and fingerings. Students will be able to count, read, and write music and will perform beginning level strings music at a concert in the spring.
