The S.C.A. is Bren Mar Park's student government. The S.C.A. is led by five elected student officers and is sponsored by Mrs. Johnson. There is also a representative from every class in 2nd through 5th grade.

The S.C.A. is a leadership and service organization which conducts service projects and promotes school spirit through leadership projects. Students meet once a month to plan and work on these projects. Throughout the school year, the S.C.A. helps raise money for the school and non-profit organizations, sponsors spirit days and holds a food drive in the fall.

SCA students are selected through an election process. The officers and committee chairs are all fifth grade students who entered the election by application and campaigned for a position. The classroom representatives are second, third and fourth grade students and can apply for the position in their classroom during their class election.

If you’re wondering when the next Spirit Day is or what the theme of it will be (i.e., Hat Day, Wacky Hair Day, Twin Day, etc.) just talk to an SCA Officer or Classroom Representative and they will let you in on the fun!
