Jason Pannutti, Principal

Jason Pannutti

Dear Bren Mar Park Families:

It is a great pleasure and honor to be the new principal at Bren Mar Park ES. Being a classroom teacher for seven years and a school based administrator for six, I have developed a passion for building relationships with the students, staff and parents at each of my previous schools. I believe in celebrating successes and looking at challenges as opportunities for collaboration and improvement. This will be accomplished through visibility during the school day and by keeping the Bren Mar Park ES doors open to family and friends. While not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, particularly my wife Amy and my two boys Michael (6) and Jake (3). We often spend time reading at home, playing sports, riding our bikes and traveling when possible. I look forward to working with the students, staff and parents of Bren Mar Park ES in a collaborative effort to make a great school even better. I wish you and your families a safe, fun and relaxing summer.

Eric T. Johnson

Assistant Principal

Mr. Eric Johnson

I am excited to join the Bren Mar Park Elementary school community as the Assistant Principal. For the past 21 years I have worked in a variety of schools. My career began as a middle and high school teacher with the Archdiocese of Newark in New Jersey, 6th grade teacher in Prince George’s County, 5th grade teacher and Reading Specialist in Washington DC, Title 1 Reading Specialist and Reading Recovery Teacher at Woodley Hills Elementary in FCPS and for the past three years, Assistant Principal at Westlawn Elementary in FCPS. These experiences were instrumental in shaping my philosophy of learning, which is, “Setting high expectations for all students and building strong relationships are imperative while collaborating with all stakeholders to promote student success.”

As a life-long learner, professional growth and learning have been important for me. I earned a BA in Political Science from Norfolk State University, Elementary Education Endorsement (K-6) from the College of St. Elizabeth, MEd in Reading from Trinity College and MEd in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.

During my spare time, I love interacting with family and friends and cheering the Dallas Cowboys to victory!
