| Description |
|
Braddock Elementary is a traditional neighborhood school where most children walk to and from classes each day. The school offers a safe, structured, yet friendly learning environment and emphasizes mutual respect, appropriate behavior, and academic excellence. Working as a collaborative team, administrators, staff members, and parents share decision making, forming a partnership to assure that every child's learning needs are met. Student learning is enriched by a variety of supplemental activites and special programs, both during the school day and in after school programs. Strong communication between school and home is fostered by monthly newsletters, regular open forums with the administration, and an involved and supportive PTA.
Our school has a working partnership with Inova Health System and Best Buy, working together to offer benefits to our students and their families.
The technology infrastructure of our building has recently been updated to include wireless technology.
