Volunteering at the School
Volunteers are a welcome and important addition to our school. Opportunities to volunteer include such things as helping with classroom parties, filling Wednesday folders, running off papers for teachers, working with the PTA on special activities, assisting with our outdoor projects, and reading with children. For more information, contact your child's teacher, the Parent Center liason, the office or the PTA president.
Student Accident Insurance
FCPS does not provide accident insurance for students. Parents and guardians may purchase reasonably priced student accident insurance through K and K Insurance Group for the 2012-2013 school year. Student accident insurance information, brochures and claim forms are available on the Risk Management website, FCPS parent website and the K and K Insurance website. Links are provided to the web pages below.
Fairfax County offers several affordable child health care programs. Each program has its own requirements. Information is available by contacting the Fairfax County Department of Family Services or by calling 703-324-7500.
