The Beech Tree Health and Physical Education program was developed to place a strong emphasis on life-long wellness and fitness. The Beech Tree PE plan is to teach students how to be physically fit and achieve optimal health through establishing a personalized exercise program or engaging in recreational activities. Students are encouraged to participate in exercise or recreational activities as well as practice healthy eating and living. Primary students are taught fundamental skills and concepts in order to create a foundation to build upon. Upper grade levels are challenged to incorporate fundamental skills into complex games and activities during and after school. The goal is for Beech Tree students to carry their skills and knowledge into adulthood.
