Please complete all three sections of the application. Do not be modest. All the information will be used by the Faculty Council to assist them in the candidate selection process. Completion of this form does not guarantee selection. The application may be downloaded below and is only available in WORD format.
- This application is in three parts; Part A is the activity sheet, Part B is the essay, and Part C is three (3) teacher recommendations.
- Parts A and B are to be returned to Mr. Hickman via email, (Cliff.Hickman@fcps.edu), by midnight October 1st. Any material sent after midnight has passed the deadline and will not be accepted. No exceptions.
- Part C requires recommendations from three teachers. Two of the three teachers must teach in the core curriculum areas (English, Math, Science, Social Studies and Foreign Languages). Less than three recommendations is looked upon unfavorably. Download three teacher recommendation forms and personally hand them to the teachers. It is the candidate's responsibility to make sure the teacher recommendations are on time, therefore, it is suggested that you politely follow up with your teachers a few days after you hand them the form. Also, a recommendation from a teacher who has known you less than one year does not carry much weight.
- Your school attendance and disciplinary records will be reviewed as part of the selection criteria.
