Introduction to Fashion and Interior Design

Fall Semester/ 1/2 credit
Grade:  9-12  

Lab Fee:  $10.00 (see note below)


This course introduces students to the fashion and interior design industry. Students learn to apply the principles and elements of design to fashion and interior decorating. Students will create miniature fashion outfits and designs using recycled materials. Learn to recognize basic housing styles and the popular designs used. Learn to arrange furniture and decorate a room. Students will construct a floor plan model. There are many creative, hands-on projects in the course. Artistic ability is not a requirement.

 

 

*Note: Lab fee is waived for free lunch students and is half-price for reduced lunch students.
