Testing Information

 

Students should schedule at least one SAT in the Spring of their jounior year and another in the fall of their senior year. Please look at the test calendar for a convenient date. Students may want to try the ACT test as well, you may test better on this admissions test.

You will get the best choice of test centers and immediate registration confirmation.  Print your admission ticket and view you SAT scores.  Credit card is required.  Cost is $45.00.  If you are on free and reduced lunch you can use a fee waiver to register online.  Please see your counselor for more information.

            Register online at www.actstudent.org  . Credit card is required and cost is $32.00 no writing or with writing $47.00.   Fee waivers are available and can be used with and online registration.  See your counselor for more information.   
TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

TOEFL is the test of English as a foreign language it measures the ability of nonnative speakers of English to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings.  In the United States the TOEFL test that is given is the Internet –based test.    This tests helps students demonstrate that they have the English skills needed for success.  Please visit www.toefl.org  for more information on registering for a test.  Cost is $170 and fee waivers are available.  Please check with the colleges and universities to make sure that you need to take the TOEFL.  Take this as soon as possible as test times and locations are hard to register for as the number of spots available is relatively low.
