Ceramics

 

Grade: 10-12 Pre-requisite: Art 1 or Sophomore Standing Credit: 1

Students use basic techniquees to become proficient in the technical aspects of ceramics. The study of a brief chronological history of ceramic developmenets as well as new directions in materials and forms are included to provide a broad overview of this technical and artistic field. Students will work with a wide variety of processes emphasizing design skills and quality craftsmanship. Selected student artwork from the class.
