| Aldrin students listened to the sounds of the season, as our 4th through 6th grade students took the stage to showcase the songs they've been learning and practicing in their Band, Strings, and Chorus rehearsals. Mrs. Tierney and Ms. Fleming started the Winter Concert by conducting the 5th and 6th grade singers. The orchestra, comprised of 4th through 6th grade students, performed next, led by Ms. Mioni. The concert concluded with Mrs. Adams conducting the band of 5th and 6th graders. During both instrumental ensembles, Band and Orchestra students bravely stood front and center, speaking clearly into the microphone to introduce the songs. This was a special afternoon, as the concert followed a surprise visit by Astronaut Buzz Aldrin. The entire student body was a wonderful audience throughout it all! |
